The English Pirate — Book One
The first volume in an epic historical fiction series reimagining the mythos of Peter Easton and his rebellious legacy. Spanning decades and oceans, the novels explore the collision of empire, love, vengeance, and identity in an age where loyalty was fluid, justice was blood‑soaked, and the sea kept every secret.
About
Bo Marwood writes fiction that walks the line between history and myth, truth and invention. His stories explore fractured identities, shifting loyalties, and the emotional weight of silence, often drawn from fragments of people and places he’s known, or wishes he hadn’t. He believes storytelling is the only way to survive the mess.
The English Pirate is his first published novel, and the beginning of a multi‑book series exploring the blurred lines between myth and memory, past and future. Though Bo prefers to remain mostly out of sight, echoes of his past — and his stories — have a way of catching up with him. That part of the tale is still being written.
The Series
- The English Pirate — Book One, available now.
- The Queen’s Privateer — prequel in development, set in the final years of Elizabeth I’s reign.
- King of No Nation — sequel in development, following Easton’s legend beyond the grave.
A ten‑book arc is planned, with two additional volumes in active development. Together they trace the rise, fall, and spectral echo of a man caught between legend and history, and the choices that reverberate across generations.
